The New 100 Club Benchmarking and Coaching Group

As most of our clients are now aware, we are now fully operational on the 100 Club Benchmarking group.

The concept of the group is to create a best practice group of bodyshops that are committed to measuring their business from a Key performance indicator perspective. The philosophy of benchmarking within Boss Australia has always been very simple. Firstly we must set the scope or benchmarks for your individual business. The most important thing when benchmarking is to establish a fair and reasonable target to achieve for your business given the current challenges that are local to the business’ needs. The best business to measure yourself against is your own. Then we can work on some industry results and compare the company’s results against the industry samples. Boss Australia Services have been performing Business Over Analysis ™(BOA) in collision repair industry for 4 years and have been responsible for setting and coaching our clients on not just the measurement process of benchmarking, but the actual “what to do now “ side of benchmarking. Every member of the 100 Club will have their own personal business coach; this coach is responsible for reviewing and formatting the results of the measured period (normally one Month) and forecast the changes needed for the next stage or measurement period.

Members of the group will be invited to 2 benchmarking conferences each year. These will be held in both Australia and New Zealand (two conference in each county per year). During these conferences’s we will be discussing industry related topics and building action plans for the group to consider. I am also working on another trip to Seattle, Washington USA to hold a study tour to one of the most successful business coaching results in the world, being the Pike Place Fish Markets, then off to the Boeing factory to see how the modern aircraft is built. This is true production planning in action.
